Born in Toronto, Canada, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie; her sister, Joan and parents, Rachel Bonfield and James Forhan. She is fondly remembered by her special cousin, Elaine (Don), cousins, Joel, Marc, Amanda, Nicholas, Charlie's sister Mary Alice Wildman (Greensboro North Carolina) and her children Mary Rose (Michael Czysz) and John. In recent months, she was particularly loved and cared for by her wonderful friends, Garlan, Susan and Phyllis.
Ruth lived such an exciting life, having had a career in the Canadian Foreign Service living in Norway, New York, India, Vietnam and Japan. After marrying Charlie while they were both living in Japan, they continued to travel the world with Exxon - Pakistan, the Philippines and Malaysia, retiring to Pensacola 1990 at the encouragement of Roy and Susan Smith.
Her story telling abilities were legendary. We will all remember her as a charming, gracious and elegant woman who will be missed by many.

Memorial Mass will be held 11:30am Monday, May 5, 2014 at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church, 9945 Hillview Dr., followed by a reception at Azalea Trace.
Private Committal of Ashes will be at Barrancas National Cemetery.
