Rose Mary previously worked as a tin flopper in the Tin Mill of Weirton Steel Corporation, later worked as a self-employed beautician and enjoyed her job as a cook for the Weirton Osteopathic Hospital where everyone enjoyed her baked goods and food. She was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church, was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who never knew a stranger. Rose Mary loved to dance, take photographs, cook and entertain for her family at the holidays especially Christmas. She decorated her 22 Christmas trees each year and truly cherished what was most important to her which was her family. Rose Mary was an avid Pittsburgh fan of the Pirates, Steelers and Penguins.
She is survived by her husband of 15 years Thomas J. Barbara; two daughters Karen Robinson (Elisha), Anna Marie Kaser (Larry) and a son Edward M. Ilosky all of Weirton; nine grandchildren Erica Risler (Lee), Jonathan Barney (Jenee), Adam and Jenna Ilosky, Brian Robinson (Jen), Tracy and Angela Robinson, Amy Six and Holly Siegel; nine great-grandchildren Jasmin, Danielle, Zachary, Brianna, Jordyn, Caiden, Elisabeth, Karis and Alivia; and a sister Mary Fulton of California.
Visitation will be held Monday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main St. Weirton. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church, 200 Preston Ave. Weirton. Interment will follow in St. Paul Cemetery, Weirton.
