Mrs. Blanche Stewart
WILLIAMSPORT - Mrs. Blanche Stewart, 69, a native of Ginter and a resident of Williamsport, died in the Shadyside Home in Pittsburgh Saturday at 11:20 a.m. following an extended illness.
Mrs. Stewart was born in Ginter June 29, 1889, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Belair. She had been a resident of Williamsport for the past 49 years.
She is survived by her husband, Frank, of Williamsport; and the following sisters and brother. Mrs. Elva Jeffries, Houtzdale; Mrs. Mary Evrard, Pittsburgh; Mrs. Josephine Dubart, Chicago, Ill.; George Belair, Celery, Calif.; and Emile Belair, Houtzdale.
Two brothers and a sister preceded her in death.
She was a member of the Williamsport Methodist Church and of the Women's Society of Christian Service of the church.
Friends may call at the Freeburg Funeral Home in houtzdale until the time of service Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. The Rev. Bruce Cleaver will officiate and interment will be in the Beulah Cemetery.
