Alberta Cornelia Gaul, 97, East Dalhousie, Kings County, died March 2, 1997, in Wolfville Nursing Home. Born at Ohio, Shelburne County, she was a daughter of the late Bertram and Mary Bower. Surviving are daughter, Leslie, Hamilton; sons, Theodore, Sackville, Halifax County; John, East Dalhousie; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Harding; son, Donald; sisters, Elizabeth, Dorothy, Mary, Nellie, Winifred, Annie, Marjorie, Jean; brothers, Donald, James. According to her wishes, her body has been donated to Dalhousie Medical School. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
