Alene B. Podell Luedtke, 68, of Winamac, IN, passed away Friday, October 31, 2014 at Pulaski Memorial Hospital in Winamac, IN.

She was born February 13, 1946, in North Judson, IN, to Emil and Doris Brady Krulik. Alene married Carl Podell November 28, 1964. Carl died in 1995. She married Arthur Luedtke February 27, 1999. Arthur survives.

Alene was a member of the St. Luke Lutheran Church in Winamac.

Alene was a farmer and homemaker. She enjoyed working on the farm with her family. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her grandchildren. Alene loved cooking and canning. She was always willing to offer a helping hand. Alene had a beautiful and contagious smile. She made everyone feel loved.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM EST Wednesday, November 5, 2014, at St. Luke Lutheran Church, Winamac, with Pastor Tom Woodley officiating.

Burial will take place in McKinley Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Winamac, IN.
Visitation will be from 3-8 PM EST Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at Frain Mortuary and one hour prior to services Wednesday at the church.

Memorial Contributions may be given to St. Luke Lutheran Church.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Frain Mortuary, Winamac, IN.
