Baldomero “Bob” V. Jimenez, 80, of Manistee formerly of Elk Rapids passed on Thursday, October 30, 2014 at his home. Bob was born on March 24, 1934 in San Antonio, TX to the late Jose and Matilda (Velazquez) Jimenez. He was married to Helen Rundquist on October 15, 1976 on Grand Traverse County. Bob had been employed with John Amos Farms for over 32 years. Bob loved to go fishing with Helen.

Bob is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Helen, two sisters; Lucy Jimenez and Matilda Jimenez both of San Antonio, TX, a brother, Joe Jimenez of Bay City, MI. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.

Friends are welcome to visit with Bob’s family on Monday, November 3, 2014 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home, 305 Sixth Street, Traverse City. A prayer service will be held at 6:30.

A funeral service honoring Bob will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at the Kewadin Indian Mission United Methodist Church, 7250 Cairn Highway, Kewadin, MI 49648, with visiting one hour prior. Pastor Tom John will officiate. Burial will follow in Kewadin Indian Mission Cemetery.

Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider a memorial donation to Kewadin Indian Mission Untied Methodist Church.
