Tasha Marie Mosten, 56, daughter of the late Sylvia A. Smyser and James Fountain Jr., passed away with family by her side Saturday, November 15, 2014, after losing her courageous battle with brain cancer.

Kelly as she was known by most received her education from the Harrisburg School District graduating in the class of 1976.

She found enjoyment working for Stroehmann Bakery for over 27 years.

She had a laugh and smile that would light up a room.

She enjoyed traveling, golfing, dancing, and spending time with her family. In 1978 she married J. Michael Rogers Sr., and later in life went on to marry Richard "Elmo" Mosten who preceded her in death.

She leaves to cherish her life and memory daughters: Jennifer Rogers, Jamie Overmiller (Chad) of York, Natasha Mosten Rogers; sons: J. Michael Rogers Jr. and William "Billy" Rogers all of Harrisburg; sister: Constance "Connie" Terry; brothers: Anthony Jones (Barb) of Buffalo, NY, James Fountain, III (LaVerna), Harold "William" Jones of Richmond, VA, Michael Fountain, Roger Fountain, and Thorin Burgess Sr. (Hope) all of Harrisburg; 16 grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her adopted parents Mary Odessa & Johnnie Burgess; sister: Tanya M. Burgess; nephews: Andre Dixon, Micah Dixon, and Thorin Burgess Jr.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 24, 2014, at 11 am, at New Hope Primitive Baptist Church, 395 S. 2nd St. Steelton, PA with a viewing of 10-11 is.

Burial will be at Paxtang Cemetery.

Kelly's children would like to thank Wallace Funeral Directors; Dr. Kantner & staff from Dr. Miller's office in Hbg.; her nurse Michelle & staff for handling our loving mother with compassionate care during her last hours at York Hospital; and especially our Aunt Cookie, Aunt Crystal, Aunt Nan, Aunt Bonnie, Uncle Thorin, along with ALL of our family & friends! Your prayers and support helped ease some of the pain during the most difficult time of our lives... Thank you!
