Mr. Butler died at 5:35 a.m. Tuesday at his home.
Surviving are his wife, Pearl Butler; two daughters, Josie Bennett and Carolyn Fox; three sons, Edward Stone, and Robert and Billy Butler; six sisters, Velma King, Dora Robertson, Ruby Owens, Dorothy Wiley, Clara Owens and Shirley Clarabara; one brother, Buck Butler; 22 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Dorothy M. Butler; three sons, Wayne Butler, Mackey Butler and Roy Butler; one sister; and two brothers. His parents were Ray and Bessie Quertermous Butler.
