Duchin Rebich, 89, formerly of Center Township, and a resident of Franciscan Manor in Patterson Township, passed away Friday, November 21, 2014, in Good Samaritan Hospice at Heritage Valley Beaver.

Born September 7, 1925, in Aliquippa, the son of the late Eli and Bertha (Busich) Rebich, he was a member of St. Elijah Serbian Orthodox Church in Aliquippa.

Mr. Rebich was the founder and co-owner of Rebich Brothers Beer Distributor. Established in 1951 in his father's garage, the business moved to 101 Pleasant Drive in Center Township in 1957 and remained there until his retirement in 2003. As a member of the U.S. Army, Duchin served with the 75th Infantry Division, 291st Regimental Combat Team in the Ardennes during the Battle of the Bulge.

Mr. Rebich was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Throughout his life, he shared a special bond with his brothers and sisters. Duchin loved his church and cherished his Serbian heritage. Mr. and Mrs. Rebich served as Kumovi for the St. Elijah Orthodox Church School Congregation. He will be remembered by his family and friends for his generosity to others.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Lillian 'Beba' Rebich in 2001; a sister Dorothy Szczepanski, and brothers, Mike, Nick, and Peter Rebich.

Surviving are daughters, Donna K. (Robert) Milanovich and Marianne (Charles) Neville, all of Center Township; Melissa R. (Allen) Jones of Ashland, Virginia, and Dori A. (William) Stump of Allentown, Pennsylvania; eight grandchildren, one great-grandchild, a sister, Mildred Winlow; brothers Sam and Eli Rebich; a sister-in-law, Marie Rebich and many loving nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received Monday, November 24, 2014 from 4 to 8 p.m. in the TATALOVICH FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, INC., CENTER TOWNSHIP, 3475 Brodhead Road, Monaca, where a service will be held Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. followed by an additional service at 10 a.m. in St. Elijah Serbian Orthodox Church, Aliquippa, with the Very Rev. Stavrophor Milan Krstic, and the Very Rev. Stavrophor Stevan Stepanov, officiating.

Interment will follow in St. Elijah Church Cemetery, Hopewell Township, PA, at 11 a.m. where the Beaver County Special Unit will conduct military honors.

Pomen (blessing service) will be held Monday at 6:30 p.m. in the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Elijah Serbian Orthodox Church Altar Fund.

The family wishes to thank Duchin's caregivers for the special care that they provided to him over the years.
