Mrs. Susan Simuta, 75, of Elizabeth, N.J., formerly of Hazleton, died on Monday at her residence. Born in Hazleton, she was a daughter of the late John and Mary Botchick, and lived in Hazleton prior to moving to Elizabeth 38 years ago. She was a member of St. Peter and Paul's B.C. Church and the senior citizens club, both in Elizabeth.
Surviving are her husband, John; one son, Raymond J., Elizabeth; four brothers, John, Michael and Joseph Bassick, all of Hazleton, and Robert Botchick, Levittown, Bucks County; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 9 a.m. from the Growney Funeral Home, 1070 N. Broad St., Hillside, N.J., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Peter and Paul B.C. Church, Elizabeth. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Hillside. Calling hours will be today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
