EX-COUNCILMAN J C HOLMES DEAD
HE PASSED AWAY AT HIS HOME ON 4 MILE DRIVE ON SUNDAY
J C Holmes died at his home after an illness of a year, he died of kidney disease and had been seriously ill the last two months. the funeral will be held tomorrow from the Pine Street Methodist Episcopal Church. Interment will be in Wildwood.
He is survived by his wife and two sons Walter W & Frank C.
The deceased for a number of years lived in the city and conducted a shoe store. He also was in the auction business and represented The 4th ward on the Common council.
