GALVESTON—Norma Collins passed away peacefully, Wednesday February 16, 2011. She was born on January, 5, 1921, in Gilmer, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Kelley Collins. A long time resident of Houston, she spent the last 30 years in Galveston, Texas with the majority of that time in her Jamaica Beach home with her husband. She was a loving wife and mother who had a passion for flowers and her award winning yard.

She is survived by her loving daughters, Sylvia Hogarth and Regina Fox, sons-in-law Jim Hogarth and Roger Fox; grandchildren Richard Sleeper and his wife Kristin, Michael Goodwin and his wife Heather, Jennifer Machen and her

husband Chris, and great-grandchildren Katy and David Sleeper, Zachary, Parker and Madison Machen, and Sophia and Nicholas Goodwin.

The family wishes to express our love and deep appreciation to Bertha Morgan, Michelle Jones, and Jamie Guillory

for the care our Mother received in their hands. And especially to Bertha Morgan who was Mother’s special care provider and companion for six years.

Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Forest Park Lawndale, Houston, Texas.
