Mrs. Henry Miebach died at her home near Grand Prarie last Monday morning in the 39th year of her age. Her body was laid to rest in the Grand Prairie cemetery, Tuesday, Rev. Mr. Maginnis preaching the funeral sermon. Mrs. Miebach has been sick for some time with typhoid fever. The oldest son Fred is now bed-fast with the same disease, not knowing of his mother's death. The sympathy of the community is extended to the father and family in this, their sad affliction.

A note from Kelly Beach: as of Jan 2018, I do not find a record that proves Alvena, born abt 1853, is daughter of Frederick and Wilhelmina Rohl. Unfortunately, she does not seem to appear in any census with them, nor do I find an immigration record. Her children's marriage records lists parents as Alvina Rohl and Henry Miebach, but it reveals no further info, not even place of birth for her. In 1870, Alvina is seen, age 17, already married to Henry Miebach, immediately next door to Frederick and Wilhelmina Rohl in Lachnane, Brown, Kansas. If anyone has any other proving data, please present it here. Thank you!
