Lois Jean McDaniel, 80, of Findlay passed away April 17, 2015 at Birchaven Village. She was born on Oct. 18, 1934 to the late Alvin and Martha (Benjamin) Spoon in Mt. Blanchard. On May 3, 1953, she married Paul C. "Mac" McDaniel and he survives. Also surviving are a son, Lon (Cheryl) McDaniel of Findlay; a grandson, Russell E. McDaniel; a step-granddaughter, Melissa (Alex) Cole; a step-great-granddaughter; Elsa Milan Cole; a brother, Alvin Junior Spoon of Forest and two sisters, Barbara Ann (Tom) Price of Forest and Ellen (Steven) Serr of WI. She was a 1953 graduate of Forest High School. Lois was an interior decorator and was the proprietor of Fabric Paper and Wood Décor, retiring in 2006. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME. Pastor Hugh Bowland will officiate and burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Findlay. Visitation will be held from 2:00-4:00 PM and 6:00-8:00 PM Monday, April 20, 2015 at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Flag City Honor Flight. PO Box 885, Findlay, Ohio 45840.
