As a young girl she attended Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church and sang in the choir. Growing up in North Akron, she attended North High School and continued on to nursing school that lead her in the medical field. Later, she acquired a job at Beverly Enterprises for whom she worked for many years.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Juanita; mother, Levon; and sister, Angela. She is survived by son, Lamard Towns; husband, Kenneth Drushal; sister, Victoria Towns; and host of other nieces, nephew, aunts, uncles other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 3, 2014 at Rhoden Memorial Home, Akron. Family will receive friends beginning 12 p.m., with service starting at 1 p.m., Pastor Joseph Lee officiating. Interment will be at Glendale Cemetery.
