She was the daughter of James Edward Wise and Dorothy Campbell Wise and grew up in Chicago, IL.
God blessed her with a beautiful voice and by the time she was in her late teens she was singing professionally, ultimately rising to the level of the featured vocalist on a popular national radio show and a contract with 20th Century Fox Movie Studios in Hollywood.
After a short time there, she gave up her singing career to return to the Chicago area to marry John "Jack" Mangan Jr., a general contractor, who predeceased her in 1979.
Together they had four children: John ( Kathy), Jim ( Mara ), and Jerry who survive her. Her daughter, Jamie Mangan King ( Geary ), passed away in January of 2015.
She is also survived by eleven grandchildren.
She spent most of her life in the Hinsdale, IL area where she not only raised her family but was a successful businesswoman as well, opening and operating a woman's designer clothing salon for many years.
Some years after Jack passed in 1979, she met and married Harry Anderson, an accomplished architect.
Harry predeceased her in 2004.
A private funeral service will be held on June 30, 2015, followed by private interment at Bronswood Cemetery in Oak Brook, IL.
