On January 9, 1979, Mrs. Saima Mary Mattson of Sylvan Lake passed away In the Red Deer Regional Hospital at the age of 78 years. She leaves to mourn her husband Emil of Sylvan Lake; her daughter, Mrs. Dick (Florence) Byttynen of Edmonton; and her son Roy and daughter-in-law Marie of Sylvan Lake; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, Jan. 13, at 2 p.m. from Johnson Funeral Chapel, Sylvan Lake, with the Rev. John Yoos officiating. Interment will follow In the Kuusamo Cemetery. Johnson Funeral Home with chapels in Sylvan Lake and Rocky Mountain House in charge of funeral arrangements. 887-2151.
