Judy Ann Yahr, of Ann Arbor, passed away Thursday, February 4, 2016 at Saline Evangelical Home. She was 68 years old. Born February 28, 1947 in Ann Arbor she was the daughter of Arthur Dale and Elizabeth June (Darr) Milliken. Judy was a graduate of St. Thomas Catholic High School. On September 7, 1985 she married James E. Yahr, he preceded her in death on March 27, 2000. Judy worked as an executive secretary at University of Michigan, after retiring from the University, she worked as a home health caregiver. She enjoyed knitting, was an avid reader and had a love for all animals, especially cats. Most of all she loved family and the time spent together. She is survived by her siblings, William Milliken and his wife Mary, Susan Covert and her husband John, Connie Lucas and her husband William and Lori Lehmann and her husband Glenn; her lifelong friend Sandy Barth; special aunt Kathy LeBeau and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at 11:00 am at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 530 Elizabeth Street, Ann Arbor, MI 48104. The family will receive friends from 10:00am until time of mass. Interment will follow at St. Thomas Cemetery. In memory of Judy, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Huron Valley, 3100 Cherry Hill Rd., Ann Arbor, MI 48105.
