Donald Ray Wiseman, 85- of Salisbury Rd. Waverly, Ohio died Monday May 23, 2016 at the Adena Regional Medical Center, Chillicothe, Ohio. He was born May 21, 1931 in Pike County, Ohio to the late Benton and Louise McDaniel Wiseman.

He was united in marriage on June 27, 1953 to Barbara Ann Allemang Wiseman who preceded him in death on October 12, 2012.

Surviving are three daughters and husbands, seven grandchildren, and six great grandchildren. Two brothers, and one sister. He was preceded in death by two brothers Carl and Paul Wiseman.

He was retired from the State of Ohio Corrections Dept. where he served as the Food Service Administrator, a member of Waverly New Covenant Church of Christ in Christian Union, Waverly and Piketon Police Auxiliary, a member of Orient Lodge #321 F. & A.M., Pike County Shrine, I.O.O.F., American Legion-Merritt Post #142 of Waverly, and was a U.S. Marine Veteran having served during the Korean Conflict.

Mr. Wiseman was an avid Bowler, loved camping and fishing, and enjoyed spending time working to repair watches and clocks for many people in the area.

Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Friday May 27, 2016 at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Waverly with Neil Pafford and Dale Reed officiating. Burial will follow in the Floral Hills Memory Gardens. Friends may call Thursday from 5:00-8:00 P.M. and Friday from 10:00-11:00 A.M. at the funeral home. A Masonic service will be 7:30 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
