Mrs. Anna V. Bingen, 201 School street, died last evening at 11:30 o'clock at Mercy hospital where she had been a patient since the first of the year.

Mrs. Bingen was born in Germany, Sept 24, 1866, and came to this country at the age- of four and had resided in this city for the past 70 years. Her husband, Nicholas Bingen, died in 1935..

Surviving are three sons, Edward and Leo of Oshkosh and Gerald of Racine; one daughter, Mrs. John Beerntsen of Oshkosh; a sister, Mrs. Joseph Mather, Oshkosh; a brother; Ernst Thamm of Oneida, N. Y. eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

She. was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the Christian Mothers society of the church. She also belonged to the Women's Catholic Order of Foresters as well as the Catholic Knights of Wisconsin.

Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 8:30 o'clock at the Fiss & Bills funeral home and at, 9 o'clock at St Mary's Catholic church, the Rev. William A. Reul officiating. Burial will be at Riverside cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday afternoon and until the hour of services.
