Margaret Elizabeth Tresenriter
Margaret Elizabeth Tresenriter, 88, of Reno, Nevada, formerly of Boise, died Friday, May 23, 1997 in a Reno care center.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 29, at the Alden-Waggoner Chapel, Boise. The Rev. Ken Stamper of University Christian Church will officiate. Burial will follow in Cloverdale Cemetery, Boise.
Margaret was born June 20, 1908, at Dayton, Washington, to Wilson and Margaret Hixon. She graduated from high school in Waitsburg, Washington.
She married Herschel Tresenriter on October 26, 1934, and they moved to Boise in 1953. She lived in Boise until moving to Reno after Herschel's death in 1990
Margaret was a member of University Christian Church and the T-Totalers Good Sam Club.
She is survived by two daughters, Lavala Sammartano of Reno, Nevada and Eleanor and her husband, Marcus Hughes of Santa Fe, Texas; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and nephew, Jerry Jones of Portland, Oregon. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herschel; and two brothers.
Friends may call Wednesday from 1 to 8:30 p.m. at the Alden-Waggoner Chapel, Boise.
