Funeral services for Manuel Perez Sr., 83, of Sugar Land will be held on Thursday, July 28, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John Fisher Catholic Church in Richmond with interment following at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg. A rosary will be held on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. at Caballero-Ryder Funeral Home in Rosenberg.
He was born on November 13, 1932 in Floresville, Texas and he passed away on July 24, 2016.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Demetrio and Josephina Guerra Perez; sisters, Olga Ramirez; Marta Torres, Macaria Galvan, Aurora Zapata; brothers, Paul Talamantez, David Talamantez, Dario Talamantez, Celestino Talamantez, Manuel Perez and grandson, Nicholas Perez.
Manuel is survived by his loving wife, Abrana Z. Perez; sisters, Lupe Ramirez and Ofelia Martinez; daughters, Ester P. Rivera, Anita P. Castor and husband Modesto; son, Manuel Perez Jr.; grandchildren, Mike Castor, Mo Castor, Manuel Perez III, Mark Castor, Ricky Mulet, Josephine Pearson, Matthew Castor, Rebecca Perez and Mario Castor; 21 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren and a special family member, Jon Skhar and wife Leslie.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Caballero-Ryder Funeral Home in Rosenberg.
