LJ. Jackson GRAND COTEAU Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, October 13, 2008, at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Grand Coteau, for L.J.Jackson, 73, who died at 3:25 a.m. Wednesday, October 08, 2008, at Opelousas General Health System in Opelousas.

Interment will be in St. Charles Cemetery in Grand Coteau. The Rev. Lambert will officiate at the services. Survivors include his mother, Mrs.

Eva C. Taylor, of Opelousas; a daughter, Priscilla Solomon; a son-in-law; Charles Solomon; four brothers, Raymond Taylor, Charles Taylor, Howard Charles, and Edward Charles; three sisters, Lovenia Charles, Eva Anthony, and Bernadine Aggison; two goddaughters, Naquetta Collins and Latasia Eaglin; two special nieces; Darricka and Natasha Aggison; a host of other nieces, nephews, and friends. L.J. was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Jackson; one brother, Caroll Taylor; and two sisters, Joyce Levier, and Berrell Jackson. Visiting hours will be observed from 5 p.m.

until 10 p.m. Sunday at Williams Funeral Home in Opelousas. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Williams Funeral Home of Opelousas, 942-2037, is in charge of arrangements..
