Alice Katherine Welsh, 91, of Grandview Ave., Duluth, Minnesota, died Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2003, in her home. Alice was born in Duluth on Jan. 5, 1912, to Joseph and Cora Larrive and had been a lifelong resident.
Alice was a graduate of Denfeld High School in 1929, and had been employed as a Physicians Assistant for Dr. Minty, and had also worked for the Duluth School System. Alice was a member of the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Rosary, and a former member of the Blue Line Club.
Alice was preceded in death by her parents, husband Larry in Nov. of 2002, a son John Leswick, brothers Roy, Gerald, and Vernon, sisters May and Elsie. Alice is survived by sons; grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren. Burial was at the Calvary Cemetery, Duluth, Minnesota.
