Loving mother of Ann Flaherty of Duxbury, Kevin McDonough, Lt. B.F.D. of Holbrook, Paul McDonough of Braintree, Peter McDonough of Boston, Brian McDonough of Quincy, Mark McDonough of Braintree, Raymond “Buddy” McDonough of Quincy, Christopher McDonough of Braintree, Meg Maccarrone of Braintree and the late Sheila and David McDonough. Sister of the late Katherine Maguire and Francis X. Dorney. Also survived by 10 grandchildren. Reposing at the Cartwright – Venuti Funeral Home, 845 Washington St., Braintree, until 9:00AM on Tuesday followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00AM in St. Clare Church, Braintree. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Monday 2-4 & 7-9PM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. Margaret M. (Dorney) McDonough was born in Boston and died suddenly at Quincy Medical Center on Saturday the 4th day of June at the age of 80. Marge grew up Boston and graduated from St. Patrick’s High School in Roxbury. She was a homemaker. Marge was an avid sports fan and especially enjoyed watching the Red Sox. She has lived in Braintree since 1989 and had previously lived in Dorchester.
