Miss Hattie Gladus of 60 Congress street, died last night at the residence of her sister, Mrs. Fred Badgley, Sr., 134 Forest avenue, after a brief illness.
Miss Gladus was born in Dannemora, but had been a resident of this city practically all her life. For the past several years she had been employed as a trimmer at the Aetna mill in Troy. She attended St. Joseph’s Church and was a member of the Union of Prayer of the parish. Besides her sister Mrs Badgley, she is survived by a brother, Joseph Gladus of Cohoes and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held Wednesday morning at 8:30 o’clock from the residence of her sister, Mrs. Fred Badgley, sr., 134 Forest avenue, and at 9 o’clock from St. Joseph’s Church, where a requiem high mass will be celebrated. Burial will be in St Joseph’s Cemetery, Waterford.
