Augustus "Gus" Aarons, a native of New Orleans, died at his residence there, Saturday, 22 July 1911, aged fifty-two years. His wife, Julia Simon Aarons; four children—Mrs. Sylvan Gunst (New York), Miss Helen Aarons, Henry Aarons, and George Aarons; his mother; a sister, Mrs. Mike Ber; and four brothers-in-law—Mike Ber, J. C. Lazard, Sol Levy, and Julius Rosenberg—survived him.
