Dr. Abbott, 80, Dies Suddenly
Dr. Adelbert Abbott, 80, a practicing physician for more than 50 years in Syracuse, died unexpectedly Sunday at his home in Salem. He was born July 2, 1888 in Salem.
Dr. Abbott was a graduate of Syracuse University Medical School and was a member of the University Club and the Syracuse Medical Association. He was also a member of the Oswego Yacht Club.
There are no known survivors.
The funeral was conducted yesterday at 2 pm at the McClellan Funeral Home, Salem, by the Rev. Oliver Warren, pastor of the Shushan United Presbyterian Church. Interment was in Evergreen Cemetery, Salem.
