Alma Irene Abbott, 76 of New Castle, went to be with the Lord, Sunday, January 8, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband Willis Abbott; parents Amps and Lola Newman; sons Robert, Willis, Jr., and Michael Abbott; and sister Geraldine Greggor.
She is survived by son Richard Newman; grandchildren Richard (Jasmine) Brown, Heather (Daniel) Givens, and Ethan (Holly) Brown; great-grandchildren Charley and Layla Brown, Carter and Holley Givens; sister-in-law Gladys Lamb; brother-in-law Dennis (Jill) Abbott; best friends Tootsie Heath and Danny Jones.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, January 12, 2017 at Paitsel Funeral Home with Jim Morris officiating. Interment will follow at Brickey Cemetery.
