Betty Jaynes Abee, 77, of Lenoir, was a daughter of the late Rev. H.H. Jaynes and Bonnie Austin Jaynes. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Bill and Jim Buchanan, and a sister, Aileen McCleary.
In her younger years she enjoyed bowling, ceramics and quilting and lately enjoyed reading. Betty was the example of the perfect wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker.
Interment in Zion Memorial United Methodist Church Cemetery.
