Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be celebrated there at 11 a.m. by the Rev. Juan Carlos Aguirre. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.
Mr. Abruzzo was born Nov. 16, 1912 in Brooklyn, New York, to Anthony and Frances Abruzzo. He enjoyed reading, watching baseball games and listening to music. He was a 4th Degree member of Knights of Columbus and a member of the Teamsters Union in New York. He worked as a beverage distributor before retirement.
Survivors include his wife, Jean; two daughters, Frances Deall, of Casa Grande and Lena Dileso, of Bay Shore, New York; two sons, Anthony Abruzzo, of Tucson and Benjamin Abruzzo, of Wantagh, New York; a sister, Clara Terriciano; 14 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Josie and Rosie, and four brothers, Charles, Joseph, Phillip and Thomas.
