Mrs Ackerman, who was born in Reading PA, lived in Murrieta three years. She was a secretary for Valley Center Elementary School for eight years.
She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star of Cedaredge CO.
Mrs Ackerman enjoyed painting, craftwork and sewing.
She is survived by two sons, Dale of Warner Springs and Dennis of McCall, Idaho; a daughter, Claire McCrann of Murrieta; five grandchildren; and a sister, Elaine Gruber of Warner Springs.
