She is survived by one son, Curtis "Butch" Davis and wife, Marilyn of Olla, LA; Stepsons Charles W. Acklen of Shreveport, LA and David W. Acklen of Keithville, LA. There are eight grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren and a sister, Earline Cater of Harrisonburg.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William E. Acklen and a sister, Marjorie Brewer.
Anne was the daughter of Cammie C. "Slim" Clawson and Sophie Trichel Clawson.
Anne passed away at the Rapides Regional medical Center in Alexandria, LA, at the age of 84. She was a retired licensed practical nurse and member of the First Baptist Church of Jena, LA.
Pallbearers were Tommy Cater, Mike Cater, Paul Cater, Bradley Acklen, Joey Andrews, and Phillip Andrews.
Honorary pallbearers were Nathan Poole, James Noel and Bobby Ray Moorehead.
