Mrs. Katherine Acklin, 64, of Newton, passed away Monday at the Richland Memorial Hospital.

Funeral mass will be held in the St. Thomas Catholic Church at Newton with the pastor; Rev. Father Donald Meehling, as celebrant. Interment will be in Mt. Calvary cemetery, Newton. The Holy Rosary will be recited
at the Buchanan Funeral Home at Newton. Friends may all at the funeral home.

The deceased was born May 19, 1906 in McLean County. She is survived by a foster-son, James Sears of
Willow Hill, two step-daughters, Mrs. Gloria Hosey and Mrs. Arlene Loss, both of Chicago, a brother, John Wall of Colfax, a sister, Mrs. Mary Jane White of Sugar Grove.
