John Acklin, senior, an old and respected citizen, died at the residence of his son, in this place, at 3 o'clock yesterday morning. Mr. Acklin was taken sick on Saturday evening last, of congestive hill. Since Tuesday, up to the time of his death, he was unconscious and speechless.
