Anna B. Ackroyd, 81, formerly of Fredonia, New York, died on December 25, 2004 at Park Haven Home, following a brief illness. She had lived for the past six years in the harbor area of Ashtabula, Ohio, with her husband Rodney of fifty-eight years. Anna enjoyed sewing, reading, her home, and spending time with family and friends. Anna was born in Clymer, New York to Todd and Florence Brown on January 5, 1923 and lived most of her life in Fredonia, New York. She was an active member of the First United Methodist Church of Fredonia. She is survived by her husband Rodney, daughter Linda Ackroyd of Melbourne, Florida, son of Richard (Roxanne) Ackroyd of Ashtabula, Ohio and grandchildren Miles and Laken Ackroyd. Anna is also survived by two sisters and several nieces and nephews. Arrangements provided by Childs & Williams Funeral Home, Ashtabula, Ohio. In honoring Anna’s request there will be no visitation or services. Donations may be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 2420 Lake Avenue, Ashtabula, Ohio 44004.
