From Find A Grave contributor Jan Miller---Death of Mrs. Adair -- Communication has been received announcing the death of Mrs. Nancy Adair, widow of James E. Adair, 74 years of age; her death occurred at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Frank Cox, at Tulsa, Oklahoma, Sunday, September 22. Burial Monday, the 23rd. Mrs. Adair went to Tulsa ten years ago to make her home with her children after the death of her husband, James E. Adair, near Roby. She is survived by one brother, George Platter, Success; a son, J. W. Adair, Licking; five daughters, Mrs. Maggie Cox, Tulsa, Okla.; Mrs. Fannie Johnston, Hillsboro, Mo.; Mrs. Rosie Davidson, Mtn. View, Mo.; Mrs. Delia Allen, Bristow, Okla.; and Mrs. Maudie Mayberry, Okemah, Oklahoma. Many Texas county friends will regret to learn of the death of Mrs. Adair.
