Predeceased by her beloved husband of 60 years, D.J. Survived by: son, Sid and wife, Cathie Adair; daughters, Jayne and husband, Bill DeGeer, Linda and husband, Tom Emmert and Judy Adair. Her very special grandchildren include Brett and Mary Freeman, Marc Adair, David and Becca Adair, Jason Emmert, Becky Adair, Stacy and Mike Clipp and Tim DeGeer; and 8 great-grandchildren. Also survived by: brothers, Homer and Howard Pilgrim; and sister, Norma Kemplin. Lu was dedicated to her family and made each holiday and birthday a special occasion. She was active in the Women's Auxiliary of Will Rogers Methodist Church, a weekly bridge group and many of her husband's activities. Once her children were raised, she joined D.J at Adair Typewriter Co. as a working partner until they both retired in 1994. A loving and attentive mother and grandmother, she leaves her family and friends with wonderful memories that will always be cherished.
