Mr. Adair graduated from Mendon High School in 1932. He worked for Swift & amp; Co. for many years and retired in 1976 from Moorman Research Farm in Quincy. He had been employed as foreman of the Poultry Division at Moorman Research.
He is survived by one daughter, Kay (Jerry) Platt and one grandson, Gregory Platt, all of Boca Raton, Fla. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
His parents, three sisters, one nephew, two great-nieces and one great-nephew preceded him in death.
Graveside services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in New Providence Cemetery in Ursa by Tom Mehaffy.
The family will meet with friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Lamporte Funeral Home in Hamilton.
