Funeral services for Alma
Claire Adair were held Monday,
February 19, 2001 at the First
Baptist Church in Sentinel at
11:00 a.m with Kelly Smith officiating.
Interment followed in
the Sentinel Cemetery under
the direction of McClure Funeral
Home of Sentinel.
Alma was born June 25, 1917
at Wynnewood, Oklahoma to
W.G. and Gladys (Stone)
Brookshier and passed away at
her home February 14, 2001 at
the age of 83.
Alma lived most of her life in
the Sentinel area. She was a
beauty operator,owned and operated
her shop in Sentinel for
many years. Alma and Garland
Adair were married March 29,
1947 in Sweetwater, Texas.
She is survived by two sisters,
LaVerne Tugwell of Renton,
Washington and Hazel Teeters
of Sanford, Texas and nieces
and nephews.
She is preceded in death by
her parents, one brother, Kenneth,
two sisters as infants,
Oleta and Leona, and husband,
Garland Adair.
