She was the wife of Jan/John Adam. Cause of death was lobar pneumonia. Contributing cause was influenza, duration, 6 days. Mary was buried in the Woodland Cemetery, Oct. 12, 1918.

1920 United States Federal Census about John Adams: Living in Baileyville (Woodland), Maine. Born about 1887 in Austria. Widowed. Also in the household was a son, Mike, age 10, a daughter, Mary, age 5, and a daughter, Annie, age 1 1/2. The son was born in Austria, the girls in Maine. Slovak was the native tongue.
