Mrs. Adams was born in Philadelphia, daughter of the late Thomas and Rose (Dondero) Dembeck. She moved from Philadelphia to Delaware in 1988.
She worked as a supervisor for Verizon (formerly Bell Telephone) for many years retiring in 1962.
She was a homemaker and loved spending time with her sons and being involved with their many activities.
Mrs. Adams was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William C. Adams, in 2001; a sister, Rose M. Dembeck, in 2001; and a brother, Thomas Dembeck Sr., in 1979.
Mass of Christian burial will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in St. Michaels Catholic Church, Georgetown, where friends may call one hour early.
Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Georgetown.
