Bobby Adams, son of the late Joe and Edna Hope Adams was born on September 13, 1931 in Malden, Missouri and departed this life on May 13, 2009 at his residence in Dexter at the age of 77.
Mr. Adams was a Veteran of the United States Army where he served in the Korean Conflict, a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Dexter and a resident of Dexter.
He is survived by two sons, Michael Adams of Willard, Missouri and Steven Adams of Springfield, Missouri; by one daughter, Melody Williams of Springfield, Missouri; by four brothers, Donald Adams of Festus, Missouri, Lee Adams of Carbondale, Illinois, Paul Adams of Carrollton, Texas and Gary Adams of Blue Springs, Missouri; by three sisters, Valorie Ross of Greenfield, Illinois, Faye Sifford of Midwest City, Oklahoma and Judi Bess of Dexter, Missouri; by three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Friday, May 15, 2009 from 12:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter.
Interment will follow in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield with Rev. Mike Kohlbaker officiating.
