Kentucky: A History of the State, Battle, Perrin, & Kniffin, 3rd ed., 1886. Warren County. ALVIN R. ADAMS, Warren County, was born in Logan County, Ky., in 1859, and is a son of John C. and Mary (Hutcheson) Adams. He was brought up on a farm and educated at Ogden College. He remained on the farm with his father until grown to manhhood, when he went to Georgia and engaged in the grocery business at Atlanta, but returned to his native state in the following year, where he has ever since resided. He is a single man and is deputy sheriff of Warren County. He is a member of Company A, Third Regiment of Kentucky State Guards, and in politics he affiliates with the Democrats.
