Found in The Columbia Record 07 September 1976: Ben J. Adams Jr., 52, of 2107 Barnhamville Rd., died Sunday at Richland Memorial Hospital. Born in Richland County, he was a son of the late Ben J. and Edna McDaniels Adams Sr. He was a member of Second Nazareth Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife Bernice Adams; and two sisters, Mrs. Seretha S. Loyd and Mrs. Alice A. White of Columbia.
