Found in The State 09 January 1974: Mrs. Edna M. Adams, 73, of 2305 Chester St., widow of Ben P. Adams, Sr., died Tuesday in Richland Memorial Hosptial after a long illness. She was born in Fairfield County, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Treadwell McDaniel. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Seretha Lloyd and Mrs. Alice White of Columbia; a son, B. P. Adams Jr. of Columbia; and two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Brown of Melbourne, Fla., and Mrs. Mary Mobley, of Newark, N. J. (note: Elizabeth Brown's SS application lists her mother as Alice Samuel)
