Andrew B. "Andy" Adams, Jr., age 65, passed away on Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at his residence in Moyers. Mr. Adams was born in Philadelphia, PA on April 15, 1945, the son of the late Dr. Andrew Borden and Rebecca Sinnie Adams. He married Carla Blanchard Adams, who survives in Dry Fork, WV. He was a 1964 graduate of Chanango Valley High School in New York, he was a US Army Vietnam Veteran, having served in the 173rd Airborne RCT and was a bronze star recipient.. Andy was a guitar-maker, gunsmith, and an inventor.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Adams is survived by: his step-mother, Marion K. Adams of Chenango Bridge, NY; a sister, Kimberly M. Adams of New Jersey; and a brother, Russell "Hank" Adams of Windsor, NY. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, George H. Adams.

At the request of his family, Mr. Adams body has been cremated.
