Isaac John Adams, "Bunk", was born on August 13, 1951 in Lewes, DE to Florence P. Adams and the late John O. Adams of Georgetown, DE. He was also preceded in death by a nephew, Jeremy Scott Adams and a brother, Derek K. Adams.
He graduated from Dover High School in 1969. He was employed by Nanticoke Homes for 13 years and Hugh H. Hickman & sons for 13 years before having to retire due to illness. He loved water skiing and was a member of the Glassmasters Ski Team and American Legion Post 28. He was an avid NASCAR fan, particularly #17 Matt Kenseth.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 39 years, Shirley Talley Adams and his best canine friend “Freckles”, a brother, Eric Adams and his wife Karen of Georgetown, DE; nephews, Kris Adams and his wife Mindy of Millsboro, DE; nephew and God son Jamie Adams and Tess Shewell of Milton, DE; a nephew, Joseph H. Talley, III of Rehoboth, DE; niece and God daughter, Jennifer Adams of Millsboro, niece, Jodi Johnson and her husband Wayne Ridgeway of Clayton, DE; sister-in-law, Leslie Maschauer and her husband Carl of Georgetown, DE; sister-in-law, Joyce Talley of Fl; brother-in-law, Joseph H. Talley, Jr. of Frederica, DE; five great nephews, Kellan, Kasen, Sean, Brett, and Bradd; two great nieces, Hailey and Jenah; loyal friends and caregivers, Kenneth LeCates and Joseph H.
