ADAMS Billy Hamilton, 93, husband of the late Oneva Alcorn Adams, died Mon, July 23, 2012 at Sayre Christian Village. Born Feb 13, 1919 in Nicholasville, KY, he was the son of the late Carter and Jane Peel Adams. Mr. Adams served in the U.S. Army, was the owner and operator of Adams Plumbing and a past president of the Bluegrass Plumbing Association. He was a charter member of Northern Heights Christian Church and member of Broadway Christian Church. Mr. Adams was a member of the Devotion Lodge #160 F&AM; a York Rite Mason, a member of the Oleika Shrine Temple where he was a Past Captain of the Patrol. In addition, Mr. Adams was a Past President of the Lexington Shrine Club, the Royal Springs Shrine Club, Past Director of the Jesters and Past President of the Masonic Temple Association. Funeral services will be 10:30am Thu at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, Harrodsburg Rd. by Minister Ronnie Hupp. Burial will follow in Lexington Cemetery. Grandsons and great-grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Oleika Shrine Temple. Visitation will be 5-7pm Wed at the funeral home with a Masonic Service at 7pm.
