Crockett was the daughter of David & Osia Underwood Switzer. She married James Marion Hogue, the son of Jerry M. & Sarah Davenport Hogue, on May 13, 1932 in Clark County, Indiana. Mr. Hogue passed away on September 8, 1938.

She, next, married Floyd Almon Adams, the son of Elihu & Lizzie Eades Adams, on October 29, 1949, also in Clark County, Indiana.
